The White House told about Trump's message to Vance in case of the president's death

US President Donald Trump has left precise instructions to Vice President Jay Dee Vance in case he ever has to replace the American leader as president during his second term. This was stated on May 13 by White House spokesman Sebastian Gorka in an interview with the New York Post (NYP).

"There is a letter in the Resolute Desk drawer addressed to the vice president in case something happens to him [Trump]," Gorka said.

He also stated that he had no concerns that the 47th president of the United States could become a target for an assassination attempt by a foreign enemy. Gorka noted that there are rules of succession that will be followed if any malicious entity manages to "eliminate" Trump.

"We have protocols, believe me. Not those that I can discuss, but there are protocols," the official concluded.
