Experts named tick-free areas in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

There are areas in the Krasnoyarsk Territory where there are no ticks. They were named in the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

Norilsk, Severo-Yenisei, Evenki, Taimyr and Dolgan-Nenets districts turned out to be non-endemic for tick-borne encephalitis.

In all other areas, there is a high probability of encountering arthropods and, as a result, contracting tick-borne infections, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Earlier, on May 13, Rospotrebnadzor reported that 89 regions of Russia were endemic for CVE (tick-borne viral encephalitis) 49 are considered, but in many cases we are not talking about the entire territory of the subject, but only about individual administrative regions. So, in the Moscow region, only Dmitrovsky and Taldomsky districts have remained endemic for more than 10 years. In the Ivanovo region, such territories include Zavolzhsky, Ivanovsky and Kineshemsky districts.
