The Great Wall Motor (GWM) concern has reduced the range of pickups in the Russian market, and the large Poer KingKong model has left it. This was reported on May 13 by <url> Magazine. The company's press service confirmed that deliveries of the model to the Russian market have been discontinued, but the automaker continues to incur obligations for maintenance and spare parts supplies.

The page with Great Wall Poer KingKong has been deleted on the company's official website in Russia, and there are no such pickups in the "Cars in stock" section either. In the line of GWM concern pickups in the Russian Federation, only the Poer model remains, which in the 2026 version costs from 3.7 million rubles.

It is noted that last year, sales of the Great Wall Poer KingKong in the Russian Federation amounted to about 1 thousand units, while the demand for the Poer model was 2.5 times higher.

The Great Wall Poer KingKong is 5.6 m long, and the model was offered on the Russian market with two two—liter units to choose from - a 150-horsepower diesel engine and a 190-horsepower gasoline engine. The transmission used a six-speed manual and a plug-in all-wheel drive with a downshift and a rear differential lock.

On May 12, the Russian AGR holding presented the first model of the new Russian brand Esteo. The mid-size crossover MX will be produced at the plant in St. Petersburg Shushary and will go on sale in the summer of 2026.
