The most emergency motorcyclists in Russia are named

Most often, the initiators of insurance events for CTP among motorcyclists are bikers aged 30-39 years (34% of applications) and 40-49 years (26%). This is stated in a study by the VSK Insurance House and Avtodom dealer holding, which was received by Izvestia.

According to analysts, young people drive a motorcycle relatively carefully — the under-30 age group accounts for 14% of requests. The proportion of female motorcyclists who become the culprits of insurance claims is fixed at a low level - about 20%. At the same time, as noted in the study, in general, Russians began to purchase motor vehicles more often — about 18% of those surveyed by the company (against 9% two years ago).

The share of motorcycle-related CTP insurance events remains low: they account for about 0.11% of the total. The largest number of applications for motorcycles is recorded in the Krasnodar Territory — more than a quarter of such insurance cases. The Novosibirsk Region (10%), Moscow (7%), St. Petersburg and Tyumen Region (5% each) were also included in the anti-rating. Among large cities, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Samara and Yekaterinburg have the lowest frequency of motorcycle complaints (no more than 1.2% in each). Every third motorcycle insurance event occurs during long-distance travel, the study indicates.

Motorcycle loss peaks in the fall, with 28% of insurance events in September and 25% in October. No more than 10% of insurance claims occur from March to May, and a total of 21% occur from June to August. The number of motorcycle "leaders" in the number of CTP claims includes Yamaha (24% of all motorcycle insurance claims), Honda (21%), Kawasaki and Suzuki (13% each), as well as BMW (6%).

The day before, it was reported that on May 16, the outer side of the Garden Ring will be closed due to the Moscow Motorcycle Festival, which will be held for the 14th time. According to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport, the event will be dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The organizers suggested that the participants of the festival decorate their motorcycles with flags of the Russian Federation and tricolor colors.
