Putin awarded the MIT staff with the Order "For Valiant Labor"

On May 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded employees of the Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering (MIT) with the Order of Valiant Labor.

The Head of State presented the award to Yuri Solomonov, Hero of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and General Designer of the Institute. The ceremony was timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the company.

The Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering is one of the key enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex. The Institute has developed strategic missile systems "Topol", "Topol-M", "Yars" and "Bulava".

MIT Corporation is a part of Roscosmos. Previously, the institute was awarded the Order of Lenin twice, in 1968 and 1976.
