At the same time, he noted that the wording of complicity implies a different degree of involvement in the crime. For example, the singer might not have known about the criminal nature of the papers she signed. However, if she is found to be an accomplice, she may face up to 10 years in prison with a fine of up to 1 million rubles.

Hardy admitted that Fadeev could recognize the signatures as his own and withdraw all charges. At the same time, the lawyer noted that despite the great influence of the victim on the process, even if he withdraws the claim, the final decision to terminate the case will be taken by the court, since due to its status it is not subject to termination due to the truce of the parties.

"However, a lot still depends on him. <...> If he eventually refuses the claim, it will be a clear signal to the court that the property claims have been exhausted. This can be taken into account when sentencing and, for example, a suspended sentence can be imposed," the lawyer stressed.
