Ilya Kivu, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, was killed in the Moscow region by two unidentified employees of the Ukrainian special services, using information from businessman Araik Amirkhanyan. This was announced by the prosecutor in the courtroom on May 13.

According to RIA Novosti, during the meeting, the prosecutor told the jury and the court that Kivu was killed by "unidentified persons from among the special services of Ukraine," guided by personal hostility to the former deputy of the rada. They contacted Amirkhanyan, an acquaintance of Kiva and a defendant in the criminal case of embezzlement of funds.
