The acceptance of applications for the VII season of the National Open Championship of Creative Competencies "ArtMasters" has ended: more than 30 thousand people have registered to participate in the competition. The application campaign took place in all federal districts and regions of Russia.
"A new stage begins for everyone who has applied to participate in the Championship — selection and preparation for the competition. Intensive work, difficult tasks and a chance to implement your own projects at the leading sites of the country are waiting for you. You are joining the ArtMasters ecosystem, which provides all the conditions for professional growth and the implementation of the most ambitious ideas in the field of creative industries. I wish each participant to reach the finals of the Championship, prove themselves and receive a well—deserved award," said Borislav Volodin, Director of ANO ArtMasters.
The largest number of applications came from the Central Federal District, with the Volga Federal District in second place and the North—Western Federal District in third. The top three among the regions are Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In addition, more than 3,500 people from 140 countries and territories applied to participate in the ArtMasters Open international team competitions.
The championship includes two age categories: the main (18-35 years old) and the "Juniors" (14-17 years old). Participants are invited to choose from 32 competencies.
For the main category: Web Designer (UX/UI), Game Designer, Graphic Designer, Theater and Film Playwright, Sound Engineer (FOH), Composer of popular music, Creative Producer, Curator of exhibition spaces, Media Composer, Motion Designer, Film and TV Operator, Stage Mechanic Operator, Industrial Engineer, Set designer, Stylist, Technical producer, Photographer, Lighting designer, Animation artist, VFX designer.
The most popular competencies in the main category were Graphic Designer, Photographer and Creative Producer.
The following competencies were offered to the "Juniors": 3D designer, Web designer, Video editor, Videographer, Film and music sound engineer, Music video maker, Composer of popular music, Producer, Stylist, Screenwriter, Photographer, Animator.
Among the "Juniors", the most applications were received in such areas as Web Designer, Photographer and Animation Artist.
The competition consists of three stages: qualifying, qualification and final. After submitting the application, participants will have to take an online test, which will be held on May 16-17 for the main category and on May 11-12 for the "Juniors". Participants aged 18 to 35 will receive the results of the qualifying stage on May 22, and contestants aged 14 to 17 will receive the results on May 18.
The winners will receive cash certificates (1st place — up to 750,000 rubles, 2nd place — up to 500,000 rubles, 3rd place — up to 250,000 rubles, for juniors — 300,000, 200,000 and 100,000, respectively), as well as opportunities for internships, employment and integration of work into real projects. The status of a finalist and winner of the Championship will be taken into account as an individual achievement when applying to universities in specialized areas of study.
The culmination of the project will be a gala concert on the New Stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, where the official award ceremony will take place. The event will be attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, federal agencies and key figures in the creative industries.
The ArtMasters Championship is the main competition for creative industry professionals in Russia, including those in the field of backstage and digital art. The main theme of the VII season of the competition is "The power of Unity. The art that unites." The project forms a pool of highly qualified experts and contributes to the expansion of the creative cluster, which corresponds to the priorities of state policy in the field of the development of creative industries and human capital.
The competition is an important part of the ArtMasters ecosystem, bringing together creative industry professionals. Participants gain access to a large-scale opportunity platform that supports talents through educational programs, grants, and collaborations. All ArtMasters projects are open to new participants and specialists from Russia and other countries. The ecosystem was created to unlock the creative potential of everyone with the support of business, government and experts in the field of creative industries.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. Over the past six years, 130,000 people have participated in the Championship.
