In the second and third readings, the State Duma adopted a bill on the right to involve the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to protect Russians arrested by foreign courts without Russia's participation. This became known on May 13.

The authors of the initiative propose to establish that the head of state, among other things, will be able to send armed forces to protect Russians from prosecution by foreign and international courts authorized without the participation of the Russian Federation.
