Temporary flight restrictions were introduced at Pulkovo Airport
Temporary restrictions were imposed at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport, but they were later lifted. This was announced on May 13 by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
"Pulkovo Airport accepts and dispatches flights in coordination with the relevant authorities in connection with the adjustment of the parameters of time restrictions on the use of airspace in the aviagavan area," the agency said in a message on the Maks messenger.
Later, the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that restrictions on the admission and release of aircraft had been lifted. Appropriate measures were necessary to ensure safety.
Earlier in the day, flight restrictions were also imposed at Moscow's Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports. They were later removed. In addition, Sheremetyevo accepted flights only for departures, but these restrictions were also lifted.
