A group of armed soldiers belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attempted to land on the Kuwaiti island of Bubiyan in the Persian Gulf. This was reported on May 13 by the Times Kuwait portal, citing representatives of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
