In Moscow, a pensioner started shooting at a playground with pneumatics

In the Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye district of Moscow, police officers detained a pensioner who fired an air rifle from a window at a playground in the courtyard. This was reported on May 13 in the Department of Internal Affairs for the southern administrative District of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"A 66-year-old man, being in his apartment on Kashirskoye highway, fired several shots from an air rifle towards a playground and a school located in the courtyard of the house. As a result of his actions, there were no casualties," the agency wrote on the VKontakte social network.

The shooting was reported by kindergarten staff. The pensioner was detained, and the rifle was seized. A criminal case has been opened into hooliganism, and the man has been placed under house arrest.

After the incident, the Investigative Committee opened three criminal cases.

A ninth-grader opened fire at a school in Kuban on May 12, and two students were injured in the incident. According to eyewitnesses, the student came to the school building with an air gun. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of hooliganism.
