Reconstruction of the Bashkirov House has been completed in Nizhny Novgorod

With the support of DOM Bank.Reconstruction of the Bashkirov House, a cultural heritage site, has been completed in Nizhny Novgorod.

As told in the DOM Bank.In the Russian Federation, the project was implemented using preferential financing under the program for the restoration of cultural heritage sites. Almost 865 million rubles were allocated for the restoration of the facility, with a preferential rate of 9%.

During the work, the specialists carried out a comprehensive restoration of the facades, recreated the architectural decor, and restored the window openings. After the reconstruction, the building was adapted for modern use.: 57 apartments were equipped there, public spaces and commercial premises were created.

"This is an excellent example of how cultural heritage sites can be integrated into integrated territorial development projects. Such projects make it possible to preserve unique architectural monuments for future generations, while at the same time returning them to their current function," commented the Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM Bank.Russian Federation Anton Medvedev.

The project is being implemented as part of the integrated development of the Chernihiv Embankment in Nizhny Novgorod. It is planned to upgrade the infrastructure here, create walking areas, bike paths, children's and sports grounds.

Our task is to create a system in which the monument ceases to be an abandoned and complex asset, and the process of working with it and its modern adaptation becomes transparent and economically sound for business," said the First Deputy General Director of the HOUSE.Russian Federation Alexey Nidens.

The Bashkirov House is part of the ensemble of the flour mill of the Yemelyan Bashkirov and Sons trading house. The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, noted that two more cultural heritage sites included in this complex are planned to be restored as part of the KRT project.
