- A fighter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reported on the shortage of attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are experiencing a shortage of assault units in the Donetsk sector of the line of contact. This was announced on May 13 by the drone operator of the 7th separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Moscow.
"The resistance in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is weak now, the stormtroopers have become weak. <...> They are ready to surrender, but it doesn't always work out, because their own people will kill them," the fighter said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The soldier noted that many soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forcibly mobilized and do not have sufficient motivation to participate in hostilities. In addition, the agency's interlocutor said that the Ukrainian side is trying to compensate for the lack of trained fighters on the ground by actively using various types of attack drones.
Yulia Mendel, the former press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, said on May 6 that Ukrainian officials were using mobilization for the purpose of personal enrichment. She reported on the detention of the head of the Zhytomyr regional territorial recruitment center (TCK, an analogue of military enlistment offices), who was seen accepting a bribe from a local businessman.
Andrei Lylo, a militant of the 46th separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was captured by the soldiers of the Center group of forces, said that he was mobilized after independently calling police officers. According to the prisoner, the incident occurred after work, when he was drinking with a friend.
