The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into a large fire near the Izmailovsky Kremlin in Moscow. This was reported on May 13 in the press service of the Moscow prosecutor's office.

According to the agency, the fire broke out in a metal frame building on Sovetskaya Street. The cause of the fire will be determined based on the results of a fire technical examination.

"The progress and results of the procedural check conducted on this fact are under control at the prosecutor's office," the Maks messenger says.

The fire in the Izmailovo district of Moscow became known earlier that day. The city's emergency services arrived at the scene.
