Warning signs about the train were placed on railway crossings in a free area.
Warning graffiti has appeared on pedestrian crossings over railway tracks in the city of Svobodny, Amur Region. The inscriptions "Take off your headphones", "Make sure the crossing is safe", "It is forbidden to cross the tracks near a running train!" were applied by the participants of the preventive action using paint and stencil.
The inscriptions appeared on the footpaths at the children's polyclinic and secondary school No. 6. During the campaign, railway employees told children and teenagers about accident prevention, handed them themed leaflets and booklets, coloring books and reflective key rings.
The organizers of the action are not only employees of the railway, but also representatives of the transport prosecutor's office and pupils of the Svobodnenskaya Children's Railway named after Fadeev. The events were held as part of the "Make way for trains!" month, writes PriamurMedia news agency.
Earlier it was reported that four people were killed by an electric train at the Malenkovskaya station of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway on March 11. It was noted that the dead had violated the rules for staying on the railway infrastructure. In connection with the incident, several trains heading towards Moscow and the region were delayed.
