TV presenter Vladimir Molchanov has died at the age of 75.
TV presenter Vladimir Molchanov passed away at the age of 75. This was announced on May 13 by his friend, journalist Yuri Rost.
"Woe! A wonderful, worthy man, Volodya Molchanov, passed away. A talented and intelligent Russian intellectual, a moral journalist, a brilliant television presenter, an honest writer, and a great friend of mine. The loss is great and irreparable," Rost wrote on his Telegram channel.
Molchanov was known for the programs "Time", "90 minutes" and "Before and after midnight".
He was also the author of about 20 documentaries, and in the period from 1975 to 1981 he was engaged in journalistic investigations of Nazi crimes committed during the Great Patriotic War.
