Iran has put forward five demands to the United States that are necessary to resume the negotiation process to resolve the conflict. This was reported on May 12 by the Fars news agency, citing sources.

"Iran will not enter the second round of negotiations with the United States without fulfilling the five conditions for building confidence," the agency's Telegram channel says.

It clarifies that the demands include: "ending the war on all fronts, especially in Lebanon," "lifting anti-Iranian sanctions," "unblocking Iranian funds," "compensation for damage caused by the war," and "recognition of Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz."
