The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections increased in the Pskov region by 43%

Over the past week, more than 3.2 thousand people have become infected with acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in the Pskov region. The incidence increased by 43.1%.

The proportion of children under the age of 14 in the morbidity structure is almost 60%. This is reported by the Pskov news feed.

During the week, 25 people were hospitalized. This is 17 fewer cases than last week. No cases of influenza have been identified.

An increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections was recorded in several regions at the end of April. Experts attributed the situation to the changeable weather.
