Memphis NBA basketball player Brandon Clark has died at the age of 29.

Canadian forward of the Memphis National Basketball Association (NBA) Brandon Clark has died at the age of 29. This was announced on May 12 by the club's press service.

"We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Brandon Clark. He was an outstanding teammate and a great person whose influence on the team will not be forgotten. We express our most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time," reads a post on the social network X.

The cause of death is not specified.

Clark has been playing in the NBA since 2019 and has been a Memphis Club player throughout his professional career.

In 2019, he was selected in the first round of the NBA draft with the 21st overall pick by the Oklahoma City Club. Following the results of his debut season, he was included in the first symbolic team of the best newcomers of the league.
