A parishioner of the totalitarian sect "Russian Orthodox Church — Tsarist Empire", who abducted her daughters from her ex-husband in St. Petersburg, was deprived of parental rights. Alexander, the girls' father, told Izvestia about this on May 12.

He clarified that his ex-wife owed about 600 thousand rubles in alimony. The eldest daughter, 18-year-old Marina, stayed with her mother under the influence of sectarians, and the youngest, 11-year-old Irina, returned to her father and is gradually socializing through work with psychologists.

"The ex-wife writes that soon everyone will "see the truth", that it is necessary to refuse documents. <...> That I set everyone up, otherwise the children would have lived safely in the village. And so, "the end of the world is coming, before that the war, the dinosaurs will come out, there will be nothing to eat in the cities." And then I'll regret it, but it'll be too late. As children, he doesn't ask much," the man explained.

He noted that the woman did not appear in court, and probably does not yet know about the deprivation of parental rights.

"Last time, she said that the trial was illegal because Russia is not a state, but something like a trading company. Therefore, the court is not a court, and she will not appear there," Alexander added.

It became known about the disappearance of two schoolgirls from St. Petersburg in February — the sisters went to school and did not return home. The girls' grandmother, in a conversation with Izvestia, explained that the children's mother led them to a totalitarian sect more than a year ago. During this time, the schoolgirls managed to become imbued with pseudo-religious ideas and resisted their father, who returned them home and sent them to psychologists. Adherents of the sect do not recognize the Russian Constitution, and also urge to destroy documents and refuse medical care.

The girls, wearing headscarves, contacted their mother's house, who lured them into the cult. Marina, reading out the theses written out in advance on a piece of paper, stated that according to her religious beliefs, she does not use documents. The schoolgirl added that her father forced her and Irina to carry their passports and use bank cards.
