"Kuvshinov, Linda, as well as the director of Profit LLC, owned by Andrey Cherkasov (CEO of the Jam music publishing house. Darya Shamova is being interrogated by an investigator. They haven't contacted us yet," the source said.

According to the source, the detention of singer Linda is connected with the investigation of the criminal case of Andrei Cherkasov, CEO of the Jam music publishing house, accused of fraud.

"Cherkasov is charged with Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — fraud committed by an organized group on an especially large scale. The investigation establishes accomplices," said an interlocutor from Linda's inner circle.

Earlier that day, a source from Izvestia reported that searches were taking place in the office of Profit LLC, Andrey Cherkasov's second company, located on the site of the former office of the Jam publishing house and in the office of Top 7 Company LLC, which belongs to Cherkasov's wife. According to him, the searches are directly related to the singer's detention, as Daria Shamova, director of Profit LLC, and Linda appropriated Maxim Fadeev's rights to Linda's songs with the help of forged documents.
