The office of the CEO of the Jam publishing house is being searched in the case of singer Linda

Searches are taking place at the office of Profit LLC, owned by Andrey Cherkasov, CEO of the Jam music publishing house, and they are related to the detention of singer Linda. This was announced on May 12 by a source of Izvestia.

Cherkasov himself is currently in jail on charges of major fraud.

"The office of Profit LLC, Andrey Cherkasov's second company, which is located on the site of the former office of the Gem publishing house, is being searched. They are also held at the office of Top 7 Company LLC, which belongs to Cherkasov's wife," the source said.

According to the source, singer Linda was detained on Tuesday morning, and these searches are related to her.

"The searches are directly related to this, namely with forged documents, with the help of which Darya Alekseevna Shamova, director of Profit LLC, and Linda appropriated Fadeev's rights to Linda's songs," the source said.

Linda's conflict with producer Maxim Fadeev was previously reported by the media. The artist claimed psychological pressure and attempts by Fadeev to forbid her to perform songs.

On December 20, 2024, representatives of law enforcement agencies conducted operational search activities at the offices of Jem Publishing House LLC and Top7 Company LLC. According to the source's preliminary information, the police were looking for evidence in a case of arbitrariness related to the creation of fictitious documents confirming the rights to the phonograms of the Hands Up group.
