A Russian woman was injured while playing Mafia and collected over 500 thousand rubles.

A resident of Yekaterinburg suffered a severe leg injury during a Mafia game, where losing participants were thrown out of their seats, and recovered more than half a million rubles from the organizer. This was reported to Izvestia on May 12 in the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Yekaterinburg.

In July 2025, a woman came to the game in the company of seven people. A special feature of the process were chairs equipped with a mechanism for forced "departure" — eliminated players were dropped from a height of more than two m.

Being among the losers, the Yekaterinburg woman landed unsuccessfully on a hard mat. The pain in her leg forced her to go to the emergency room, after which she needed several surgeries and long-term treatment, which is still ongoing.

Compensation for moral damage in the amount of 500 thousand rubles, material damage in the amount of about 49 thousand rubles, as well as expenses for legal services were collected from the organizer of the Mafia.

On May 8, a court in the Irkutsk region sentenced two organizers of illegal car races, during which an underage spectator died and her friend was injured. A participant in an illegal ride lost control and ran over pedestrians who were on the side of the road. Next, the Toyota Chaser car flew off the road and crashed into another car.
