Victims of the drone attack (UAV) There is no attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on an apartment building in Orenburg. This was announced on May 12 by the Governor of the Orenburg region Evgeny Solntsev.

"According to the operational services, there are no casualties as a result of an attack by an enemy UAV on an apartment building in Orenburg," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Solntsev added that the roof was damaged and windows were partially broken as a result of the impact. According to him, all the residents of the house were evacuated, and they were offered hotel accommodation.

The governor stressed that employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, emergency medical services, police, as well as representatives of the city and regional authorities are working at the scene. He also warned about continued attacks by enemy drones and recommended following the recommendations.

Solntsev reported on the same day that an apartment building had been damaged in Orenburg when repelling an attack by a UAV. The governor clarified that all operational services had gone to the scene.

The governor also said that a high-alert regime had been introduced in Orenburg, Orsk and Yasny after a drone attack on the territory of the region. According to him, appropriate measures have been taken to ensure the safety of residents and coordinate the actions of emergency services.
