A child was blown up by a mine on the shore of the Seversky Donets in the LPR

A 13-year-old child was injured as a result of a mine explosion on the shore of the Seversky Donets in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). This was announced on May 12 by the Minister of Health of the LPR Natalia Pashchenko.

"The caller reported that his friend had hit a mine on the shore of the Seversky Donets in the village of Krasny Yar. <...> The injured child, a 13-year-old boy, suffered a mine—explosion injury, unfortunately, he lost his left foot," the administration quotes her as saying in the Maks messenger.

The child was hospitalized in the republican Children's clinical hospital. According to Pashchenko, another child who was with the victim was not injured.
