Sibstal Park in Krasnoyarsk to be cleared of emergency trees

In Krasnoyarsk, they began cutting down trees in Sibstal Park for the sake of visitor safety. It is planned to eliminate only dry and emergency green spaces, the press service of UIA Krasgorpark reported on Tuesday, May 12.

In the city, rejuvenating pruning is performed using modern technology — no more than 25% of the crown is removed. This approach has a more gentle effect on trees and contributes to their better restoration.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, all sections are treated with garden pitch or oil paint to protect against pests and diseases.

Earlier it was reported that a new urban recreation area will be built on the right bank of Krasnoyarsk. The facility will be located on Kutuzov Street in the area of houses No. 81a, 83a, 87a, 87b.
