A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Over the past 24 hours, until 00:00 on May 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched five attacks and carried out 859 attacks on positions of our troops from multiple rocket launchers, artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 5,825 strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation mirrored the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, firing back at the positions of multiple rocket launchers, artillery and mortars, as well as hitting control points and launch sites of unmanned aerial vehicles.

With the end of the ceasefire, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to conduct a special military operation.

"Units of the Center group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized, airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the marine brigade in the areas of the settlements of Sergeyevka, Belitskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic, Novopodgorodnoye and Novopavlovka of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to more than 290 military personnel, a US—made Stryker armored personnel carrier, five armored combat vehicles, 10 vehicles and a field artillery piece," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Units of the North group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Zapselye, Sumy region. In the Kharkiv region, units of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Ryasnoye, Granov and Volokhovka of the Kharkiv region were hit. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 145 soldiers and 17 vehicles.

Units of the Zapad group of forces defeated formations of three mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Pristen, Podliman and Druzhladovka in the Kharkiv region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 100 soldiers, 21 vehicles and a field artillery piece.

Units of the "Southern" group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the mechanized and mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Konstantinovka, Tikhonovka and Artyom of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy lost up to 75 soldiers, 13 vehicles and two artillery pieces.

Units of the Vostok group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the airborne assault brigade and the assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Charivnoye, Verkhnyaya Tersa, Zaporizhia region and Dobropasovo, Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 230 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, eight vehicles and an artillery piece.

Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Dimitrovo, Zaporizhia region. Up to 35 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an armored combat vehicle and nine vehicles were destroyed.

Military airfields, ammunition and fuel depots, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 56 districts were hit by operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. 108 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 144,996 unmanned aerial vehicles, 661 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,268 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,718 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 34,875 field artillery and mortars, 61,401 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
