The visit of German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius to Kiev testifies to the unwillingness of the European Union (EU) to seek a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported on May 11 by the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung (BZ).

"While the appointment of mediators is being discussed, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is traveling to Kiev, but not as an envoy of peace, but to negotiate increased cooperation in the field of armaments," the publication says.
