The Ministry of Health proposed to change the list of medical specialties

Starting from September 1, more than ten new medical specialties and positions may appear in Russia. This follows from the draft order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The list is planned to include such areas as medical biology, neuropsychology, nutrition, physical rehabilitation and others. There will also be positions of a doctor in the field of healthy longevity medicine and a nutritionist.

At the same time, a number of outdated specialties will be excluded from the list, for example, a diabetologist, a teenage therapist, a paramedic, a narcologist, and others. Their functions will be transferred to broader specialties. Those specialists who were accepted to the listed positions before a certain date will continue their work, the draft order clarifies.

Mass retraining of doctors will begin soon.

On April 19, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation approved a list of diseases in which citizens will not be able to get a job in security services. A total of 65 diseases are listed, of which 62 are mental disorders. We are talking about people suffering from chronic diseases such as schizophrenia, psychosis, gender identity disorder and the like.
