Kravtsov announced the record participation of students in the school Olympiad

The total number of participants in the school Olympiad in Russia has reached 24.8 million people. This was announced on May 12 by the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

"We see growth in all stages of the competition. We have a new record in the school stage — more than 8.3 million participants, and the total number of participants is 24.8 million, meaning on average every student has tried himself in the Olympiad in three subjects. This indicates the high interest of the guys in this intellectual competition," he told RIA Novosti.
