Hackers turned on the Russian national anthem in shopping malls and stores in Ukraine
Hackers broke into video cameras located in Ukrainian stores and shopping malls and used them to turn on the National Anthem of Russia, as well as patriotic songs. The corresponding footage was shown to Izvestia on May 11 by representatives of the pro-Russian group "Quiet Pool".
Representatives of the hacker group were able to gain access to a total of 300 cameras, which were installed in seven shopping malls and 24 stores.
Through hacked devices, it was possible to turn on about 150 patriotic musical compositions, including the song "Victory Day" performed by People's Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko. Hackers lost them, including on May 9th and 10th.
On March 31, the Cyber Sickle group of pro-Russian hackers also said that a phishing message on behalf of the CERT-UA rapid response team for computer incidents in Ukraine helped hack more than 200,000 Ukrainian computers. At the same time, the hackers noted that ordinary residents of Ukraine were not affected in any way as a result of the hack.
