Four civilians were injured as a result of drone attacks The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod region. This was announced on May 11 by the Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Four municipalities of our region have been attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Four civilians were injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Gladkov said that in the village of Oktyabrsky, Belgorod region, an 18-year-old boy was injured by a drone strike on the roof of an apartment building. A medical team came to his aid, which was also attacked by a second enemy drone, the governor reports. The ambulance workers received barotrauma. The young man was also diagnosed with barotrauma and a shrapnel wound to his chin.

The governor added that the young man will continue further treatment at the regional clinical hospital, and the emergency medical staff will be on an outpatient basis.

On the same day, Gladkov reported that an employee of an enterprise in the village of Yasnye Zori had been injured in a UAV attack. It was clarified that the man was hospitalized in Belgorod hospital No. 2 with a mine-explosion injury and a blind shrapnel non-penetrating wound to the abdomen.
