The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the presence of a government agency to study UFOs.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are engaged in the study of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) on the territory of the country. This was announced on May 11 by Sergei Beskrestnov, Adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, with the call sign Flash.

"Since the beginning of the conflict, UFO research in our space has become more of a military task than a civilian one," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Beskrestnov, the Armed Forces of Ukraine has prepared a special document on this topic, agreed by the Commander-in-Chief. He also claims that there is a government structure in Ukraine that has been engaged in such research since the Soviet period.

The adviser said that in 2023 he published a video from the front, where, according to him, aerial reconnaissance recorded UFOs. After that, representatives of the relevant government structure contacted him, Beskrestnov wrote.

The first batch of American documents, which contain information about unidentified flying objects and various anomalies, was declassified by the Pentagon on May 8 and is now available to everyone. This step, as emphasized in the Pentagon, was taken as part of the policy of maximum transparency pursued by the current head of the White House, Donald Trump.

The next day, it became known that the Pentagon had declassified the case of the US military chasing an unidentified super-fast object, which split into two parts in front of the soldiers. It is specified that the incident occurred at the end of 2025.
