The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has decided to replace the TCC (territorial recruitment centers, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) with recruitment and support offices, some of the functions are planned to be transferred to the police. This was reported by the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper, citing a source.

They want to divide the structure into two areas. Recruitment offices will handle accounting, search, and registration for military service, while support offices will monitor payments, certificates, and social support for the military.

In addition, it is planned to open separate recruitment points in public places, and special centers for medical examinations and registration for military service.

The publication emphasizes that the question of who will deliver citizens to the offices remains unresolved. The article reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine planned to delegate this duty to the police, but they did not approve the idea.

Earlier, on May 4, it was reported that employees of the territorial recruitment center mobilized Denis Postolenko, a 40-year-old local resident in the Odessa region, despite having serious problems with vision, hearing and spine. According to Postolenko, who is an ordinary soldier of the 159th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he had not previously been called up for military service due to his health condition. However, in April 2025, the man was forcibly taken to the shopping mall and sent to the troops.

On January 14, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, announced that 2 million men were wanted in Ukraine through territorial recruitment centers (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). He noted that of these 2 million citizens, many have problems with military registration documents, and another 200 thousand people are listed as having voluntarily left their units.
