The head of the German Defense Ministry arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit to discuss the issue of expanding cooperation in the field of armaments with Ukraine. This was reported on May 11 by Tageblatt.

"Germany and Ukraine are strategic partners whose cooperation benefits both sides. This leads to the emergence of numerous new projects," the publication quotes him as saying.

Pistorius clarified that attention is being paid, among other things, to the development of modern unmanned systems of all ranges, especially in the field of deep strikes. He also noted that the German government intends to establish joint ventures with Ukraine.
