Two Ukrainian militants were killed by their colleagues in the Kharkiv region while trying to defect. This was reported on May 11 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
It is specified that the incident occurred with the military of the 159th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who tried to escape near the village of Shesterovka.
"Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed by their own barrage detachments, three managed to hide in a wooded area, the rest returned to their stronghold," RIA Novosti quoted the security forces as saying.
