Russian products have become popular in Thai stores
Borodino bread, Russian herring, red caviar, Frutonian products and cereals from Russia have become in demand in Thai grocery stores. This was reported by RIA Novosti on May 11.
It is specified that Matias herring and Frutonian brand products have been sold in Bangkok and popular tourist regions of Thailand for over six months. Despite the high demand and rapid sales, the supply of these goods does not stop, which allows them to constantly replenish the range of stores.
Russian red caviar was introduced to the Thai market in early 2026, and Borodino bread appeared in the country's retail chains in April. The products are mainly sold in supermarkets Villa Market and Tops, the largest supermarket chain in Thailand.
The popularity of Russian beer is actively gaining momentum abroad, as noted on April 19. Demand is growing, and with it the export of the drink.
