The upper limit of the age of young people in Russia may be increased in the future, but first it is necessary to increase the overall life expectancy of the population. This was announced on May 11 by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, epidemiologist, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Gennady Onishchenko.

"This process must take place. It will pass, but not now. We need to raise the overall standard of life expectancy," he told TASS.

Onishchenko noted that now the upper age limit for young people is 35 years. According to him, it may be reviewed, but not in the near future.
