A resident of the Amur region beat a drinking companion to death with a stool on the head

In the Shimanovsky municipal district of the Amur region, a man beat his drinking companion with a stool, he died from a closed craniocerebral injury. This was reported on May 11 in the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"According to investigators, on March 3, 2026, in the evening, the accused came to his 58-year-old friend's garage, where they began drinking alcohol. During the drinking, a conflict occurred between the men, as a result of which the attacker struck the victim several blows on the head with the wooden surface of the stool, causing a closed craniocerebral injury," the department said in a message on the Maks messenger.
