On May 11, the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed the state visit of US President Donald Trump to the country, which is scheduled for May 13-15.

"At the invitation of the [PRC] President President of the United States Donald Trump will pay a state visit to China from May 13 to May 15," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
