The bodies of six people were found in a freight train carriage at a station in Laredo, Texas. This was reported on May 10 by The New York Times (NYT), citing sources.

"An employee of the Union Pacific company, who was responsible for loading and unloading wagons at the railway station before heading north, reported the discovery of bodies," the publication says.

It is clarified that this incident is not the only one. According to the newspaper, in the last few years, bodies of people have already been found in or near train cars in the border cities of the United States. Many of the dead were migrants who did not know that the temperature inside such wagons could rise sharply.

On April 19, People magazine reported that the remains of 50 infants and six adults were found at the Kumuto Cemetery in Trinidad and Tobago (South America). According to police, there are four men and two women among the adult remains. One man and one woman showed signs of an earlier autopsy. Almost all the adults, with the exception of one man, had identification tags.
