Self-employed citizens can expect to receive pension payments in the amount of 50,593 rubles if they annually contribute the maximum insurance contribution to the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) for 30 years. This was announced on May 11 by Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"The pension for the self-employed may amount to 50,593 rubles if they pay the maximum contribution to the SFR annually for 30 years. At the moment, it amounts to 572,204 rubles," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to the expert, with such a scheme of deductions, 261 individual pension coefficients (IPCs) will be formed for the specified period. If the self-employed decides to contribute the minimum possible amount, which currently stands at 71.7 thousand rubles, the amount of his future pension will be 14.4 thousand rubles.

The professor recalled that the current tax regime for the self-employed does not oblige them to make contributions to the Social Fund.
