Buses carrying players of the Barcelona and Real Madrid football clubs were pelted with stones by fans of the Catalan team before the match of the 35th round of the Spanish championship. This was reported on May 9 by the newspaper Marca.

"The arrival of Barcelona and Real Madrid buses at Camp Nou was tough. A group of radical fans of the Barca team, who gathered on the street, <...> threw blunt objects at both of them," the publication says.

The match took place in Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium and ended with a 2-0 victory for the hosts. Both goals were scored in the first half of the match — Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres scored.

The victory allowed Barcelona to score 91 points in the standings. Real Madrid, which occupies the second line, is 14 points behind the leader.

Juventus of Turin beat Lecce on May 9 in the match of the 36th round of the Italian Football Championship. The match ended with a score of 1:0. The only goal in the 1st minute of the game was scored by striker Dusan Vlahovic after a pass from Andrea Cambiaso.
