The President of Azerbaijan criticized the European observers on the border with Armenia

On May 10, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev criticized the work of European observers on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

"We had no intention of destroying Armenia, we had no intention of taking away its independence. Even today, Europe's elite observers are supposedly standing guard on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. I said at the time that if we fired even one bullet, their heels would shine and there would be no trace of them. But they pretend to protect Armenia from us. There is no need to defend Armenia from us. We have achieved what we wanted," the Axar news portal quotes Aliyev as saying.
