Khachanov reached the fourth round of the ATP tennis tournament in Rome

Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov beat Dutch representative Botik van de Sandshulp in the third round match of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Masters tournament in Rome. The meeting took place on May 10 and ended with a score 5:7, 6:4, 6:4.

Khachanov completed four straight serves during the match, made two mistakes on serve and used three of the eight break points. Van de Sandshulp made eight aces, eight double faults and made two break points out of eight possible ones.

In the next match, the Russian will face the Croatian tennis player Dino Prismic. The current winner of the tournament is Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who is not competing due to injury.

The final of the tournament in Rome will be held on May 17th.

Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev reached the third round of the Masters tournament in the Italian capital on May 9. In the second round of the competition, the 28-year-old athlete beat 26-year-old Serb Miomir Ketsmanovic. The match ended with the score 6:4, 6:4.
