Pushkov stated that the United States could not take Iranian uranium without consent

The United States is not capable of removing enriched uranium from Iran without Tehran's consent. This was announced on May 10 by Senator Alexei Pushkov.

"The United States can observe, but it cannot withdraw enriched uranium without Iran's consent," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

This is how the Russian lawmaker commented on the statements of the American leader Donald Trump. Earlier, Washington claimed that the United States had established storage sites for Iranian nuclear materials with the help of space exploration and intended to take them away "at a certain stage."

"The extraction of nuclear materials and their safe transportation in conditions of military operations is practically impossible," Pushkov said.

According to him, such an operation requires peace, an agreement on the transfer of enriched uranium and a detailed action plan with the IAEA. Pushkov stressed that the unconditional consent and cooperation of the renouncing nuclear materials is a prerequisite.

On May 7, Behnam Saidi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic, denied Trump's statement about the export of 400 kg of uranium from the country. He noted that his words are "a political bluff and a pure lie."

The head of the White House confirmed his intention to ease sanctions against Iran if it agrees to the conditions put forward to it.
