Iranian intelligence services have detained two groups linked to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. This was announced on May 10 by the Iranian Intelligence Ministry.

"A four—person operational cell linked to Mossad has been identified and arrested in Western Azerbaijan, which has conducted terrorist operations against important targets and carried out individual assassinations in Tehran," the ministry's statement quoted Fars news agency as saying.
