In 2025, Azerbaijan and China became the largest suppliers of apples to Russia, with import volumes from these countries amounting to $60 million and $50 million, respectively. This follows from an analysis of open data on May 10.

The top five also included Serbia ($41.8 million), Moldova ($36.8 million) and South Africa ($26.9 million). Russia also buys apples from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Chile and Argentina, RIA Novosti reports.

Lithuania, Brazil, the Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan and South Korea account for smaller volumes of imports.
