A search for a missing truck with 1,700 bees from Uzbekistan has begun in Bashkiria.

Bashkir beekeepers are searching for a truck that disappeared after crossing the Russian-Uzbek border, which transported 1,700 potentially dangerous bees that had not passed quarantine. This was announced on May 10 by the portal Ufa1.ru .

"A truck drove across the border in the Astrakhan region, through the Karaozek checkpoint. There were 1,728 bee packages from Uzbekistan in the back. The insects followed the address of the Kurgan company Maya LLC, to the quarantine apiary in the village of Lukino. <...> But the truck never reached its destination," the article says.
